Tacoma Jazz Academy is a conservatory-inspired music school where musicians, students, and teachers gather to develop musicianship, build community, and study jazz as a foundation for creativity and lifelong musical growth.

Tacoma Jazz Academy was created to bring the depth, structure, and community of a conservatory to working adults, serious students, and lifelong learners. Rather than treating lessons, classes, ensembles, and performances as separate offerings, we connect them into a complete educational experience designed to help musicians listen more deeply, understand harmony, improvise, collaborate, and continue growing over time.
